Senior Business Analyst
Systems Integration & Development (SID) is an award-winning IT solutions provider headquartered in Rockville, MD and is currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst. This is a full-time position available onsite (hybrid) in New Carrollton, MD.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Lead requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to analyze and document business needs.
- Create functional specifications and business process diagrams to support development efforts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and translate them into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and execution of project goals.
- Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and project initiatives.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
- Develop and deliver training materials and conduct sessions for end users.
- Stay updated on industry trends to bring innovative ideas to the organization.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
- Proven experience with requirement elicitation and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques.
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business analysis tools.
