Property and Casualty Licensed Customer Service Representative

A F Szabo Insurance Agency Inc is seeking a licensed Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a local insurance agency, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service to our clients. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and a customer-focused mindset.

In this role, you will be responsible for assisting clients with their insurance needs, answering inquiries, and providing support throughout the policy lifecycle. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending appropriate coverage options, and ensuring their satisfaction. Additionally, you will collaborate with our sales team to generate new business opportunities and contribute to our overall growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to clients, both over the phone and in person
• Assist clients with policy inquiries, changes, and claims
• Review insurance policies to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Process insurance applications and issue policies
• Conduct policy reviews and make recommendations for coverage updates
• Collaborate with the sales team to upsell and cross-sell insurance products
• Resolve client complaints and escalate issues as necessary

Requirements

• MUST have a Property and Casualty license in Maryland
• Proficient in insurance industry practices and regulations
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Proficient in computer systems and software, including MS Office suite
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
