RMC is hiring a Program Analyst in Indian Head, MD. The selected applicant will assist in the program analysis and financial support of Department of Navy (DoN) Programs. Position duties may include:
- Preparing or processing funding documents, up to funding execution, for the Program using computer software applicable to the assignment.
- Analyzing funding history and providing projections for future funding levels of the Program, and advising on future programmatic funding needs and requirements
- Maintaining records and files for the Program; ensuring related attachments and exhibits are included.
- Responding to data calls and inquiries regarding Program financials.
- Interpreting and explaining policies, rules, and regulations in response to inquiries.
- Monitoring and controlling expenditures, and releasing funding as necessary, up to funding execution.
- Assisting with the input of Purchase Requests and initiating work-flows as necessary.
- Reviewing and summarizing financial reports and documents.
- Assisting and advising customers in the issuance of funding documents, and related Program policies and procedures.
- Participating and assisting in the administration of the Program - providing administrative/clerical support including. preparing briefs, presentations, and cost spreadsheet.
- Recommending improvements to Program policies and procedures.
- Utilizing DoN systems and Program portals.
- Providing a high level of customer service to both internal and external Program customers.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess an associate degree with two (2) years of relevant experience or a High School diploma with four (4) years of relevant experience in a related discipline. Prior experience with handling DoD funding documents and DoD acquisitions/contracts is desired, but training will be provided as necessary.
- Security Clearance: An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicants selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
