Ripple Effect is looking for a Program Analyst to provide technical, administrative, programmatic, and evaluative support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives supporting the Congressionally Directed Medical Research Programs (CDMRP). - Salary Range: $60,000 to $68,000 per year (how we pay and promote)
Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support by assisting and at times leading scientific data harvesting, analyses, and collating information for evaluation and management tasks under direct supervision.
- Provides meeting support including scheduling, meeting minutes, and follow up on assigned meeting tasks.
- Coordinates with the team lead to develop program reports and award tracking.
- Provides support for program evaluation and portfolio analysis tasks.
- Assists with responses to high priority information requests (i.e. taskers), Congressional inquiries, data calls, and other inquiries.
- Reviews status and follows up on delinquency reports and provides project management support for program evaluation, program management, and award management as requested.
- Provides award management support for tracking portfolio status in accordance with established milestones.
- Must take initiative and possess excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in science, health, healthcare or related area.
- 4 years minimum experience
Basic Requirements
- Computer literacy with experience using SharePoint, Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Outlook; including the ability to prepare and maintain complex spreadsheets.
- Electronic database and spreadsheet experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for face-to-face interaction with clients, coworkers, and stakeholders.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills; demonstrated capacity for detailed organization and synthesis of abstract and disparate information.
- Highly efficient and extremely detail oriented.
- Ability to prioritize among multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to work independently and know when to seek assistance.

Skills That Set You Apart
- Master’s Degree in a related field
- Experience in project management
- Experience conducting, analyzing, or managing biomedical research
- Experience with survey and/or statistical software
- Strong Excel skills
- Familiarity with government contracting
