Job Description / Requirements:  

• Collaborate with the Production Manager and area leads to create and manage production schedules based on capacity and demand forecasts.
• Develop production planning and scheduling tools to improve efficiency and accuracy in the production process.
• Ensure the accuracy of project management boards and oversee the successful transition of projects from planning to the production floor.
• Build and maintain capacity plans, modeling various delivery scenarios to identify potential challenges and optimize production processes.
• Escalate long-term capacity or equipment constraints to ensure production schedules are realistic and achievable.
• Serve as the main point of contact for updates and coordination between production, logistics, and other departments regarding ongoing production and shipping statuses.
• Facilitate the smooth flow of products between production teams and logistics to meet shipping and delivery deadlines.
• Direct report to the Director of Operations Hagerstown.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred).
• Experience in manufacturing or a related industry is a plus.
• Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of production planning tools and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to model delivery scenarios and build capacity plans.
• Problem-solving skills to identify and address long-term capacity and equipment challenges.
• Experience in project management and ensuring the smooth transfer of projects to production.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
