IT Concepts is seeking a qualified PMO and Operations Support Analyst to support our SSA programs. The Analyst will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of projects, maintaining effective project management practices, providing essential operational support, assisting project managers with Quality Assurance processes, and other related activities to drive company growth and success. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of project management skills, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

Project Management Office (PMO) Support:

  • Collaborate with project managers to create, update, and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and assist in developing mitigation strategies to ensure projects stay on track and meet established milestones.
  • Conduct regular project status meetings, compile meeting minutes, and distribute timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in the preparation of executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate project status, risks, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in developing and enhancing PMO processes, tools, and templates to streamline project execution and improve overall efficiency.

Quality Assurance Support:

  • Collaborate closely with project managers to ensure adherence to quality standards and best practices throughout project lifecycles.
  • Assist in the implementation and execution of Quality Assurance processes, including reviewing project deliverables and ensuring compliance with established guidelines.
  • Work with Corporate Quality Assurance to provide guidance to project teams on Quality Assurance methodologies, tools, and techniques to enhance project outcomes.

Operations Support:

  • Provide operational support to various projects, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements, drive efficiency and growth, and optimization toward company goals.
  • Assist with developing and maintaining operational procedures, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistent and high-quality execution.
  • Act as a liaison between operational teams and other departments, fostering effective communication and knowledge sharing.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Gather and analyze data to generate insights into project and operational performance, identifying trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain detailed reports and dashboards to provide stakeholders with clear visibility into project and operational metrics.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and analyses to support decision-making processes and enable data-driven strategies.


Location: SSA HQs in Woodlawn, MD. The role can be mostly remote, but we prefer candidate to be in the DC/VA/MD area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Operations Management, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a PMO Analyst role, preferably with demonstrated Operations Support responsibilities.
  • Proficiency and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong experience with SharePoint, including document management and collaboration capabilities.
  • Experience in supporting project managers with Quality Assurance processes and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to collect, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all tasks.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a willingness to take initiative to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Preferred:

  • PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira)

Clearance:

Must be able to complete Public Trust process and maintain clearance
