Our Hagerstown location is seeking someone who specializes in heavy-duty retail and aftermarket parts. As part of our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Parts Manager to join our team.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
As a Parts Manager at Beltway Companies, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the Hagerstown Parts Department and ensuring optimal performance. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Set and achieve department goals.
- Train and supervise staff.
- Manage the operating budget.
- Maintain balanced inventory and optimize turnover.
- Establish pricing and profitability parameters.
- Oversee stock ordering and special orders.
- Analyze sales, expenses, and inventory.
- Develop and manage a wholesale parts program.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and timely parts turnaround.
- Conduct meetings, oversee payroll, and ensure compliance with safety and regulations.
Requirements
- Prior experience in transportation, parts, or service environments required.
- Qualifications include technical school degree in automotive or diesel, parts counter experience, or vehicle/heavy duty equipment repairs.
- Strong commitment to customer satisfaction and collaboration with all departments.
- Conduct oneself and maintain a professional appearance at all times.
- Demonstrate flexibility and readiness to embrace change.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with a positive attitude.
- Basic PC skills, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of basic algebra and geometry.
- Ability to stand, move constantly, and work outside for an 8-hour shift.

- The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $50,000 to $75,000 with bonus opportunities.
