As a Maintenance Technician II with us, you will be an integral part of our dedicated team, ensuring that our facilities and infrastructure are well-maintained to provide the best possible services to our residents and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Performs semi-skilled and skilled labor work.
- Uses hand and power operated tools.
- Operates, and maintains various small gas powered, electrically driven, and/or hydraulically operated machinery and equipment.
- Assist with the maintenance of parks, including mowing lawns, trimming trees, and repairing playground equipment.
- Assist in repair of streets and parks.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any safety concerns.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance practices and procedures.
- Ability to use common hand and power tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must possess a CDL Class B valid driver's license.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Availability to work on-call and/or overtime as needed.
