Full Job Description
Spectrum is seeking a Logistics Manager to provide support for our customer located in St. Inigoes, MD. In this role you will work with a diverse, high performing team of professionals leveraging a proactive program management methodology to ensure all tasks are executed and delivered on time and of the highest quality.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
Conducts analyses on logistics, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and operations to make recommendations for customizing, optimizing, and establishing requirements for logistics elements. Provides suggestions for enhancing site support, including maintenance planning, phased support, workforce and personnel needs, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training resources and devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, as well as facilities. Offers recommendations for the development of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans. Evaluates various Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) documents and plans. Provides supervision and guidance to logistics analysts. Analyzes data to determine Allowance Parts Lists (APLs). Additional responsibilities entail supporting the Program Manager in formulating policies and procedures, overseeing daily operations, managing TDL funding, and analyzing and auditing shipping and ODC costs. Provides input for reviewing and developing Maintenance Plans/Logistics Support Analysis (MP/LSA) records, maintenance tasks, and Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) recommendations.
Requirements
Education
Master’s degree in a technical or business discipline.
Required Experience:
Of the minimum 10 years of experience required, 5 of those years must be in Logistics or Supply Chain Management with the DON or other DoD programs. A certificate of completion for the DPAS Warehouse Management training module (https://dpassupport.golearnportal.org) is required no later than 21 calendar days after contract award, or date of hire, whichever date is later.
