Full-time Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT or LCMFT)

Gotham Enterprises Ltd are seeking to hire a compassionate counselor to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. We are a behavioral health company with an excellent reputation for providing personalized services to those in long-term care units seeking to hire a counselor to join our dynamic team. Our private practice is committed to a client-centered, empathetic approach that not only challenges but also facilitates and processes client experiences. We focus on delivering high-quality clinical services as a recognized leader in evidence-based treatments that have consistently demonstrated positive outcomes.

Salary: $100,000-$105,000 per year, plus full benefits

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct counseling sessions with patients experiencing chronic pain.
  • Development of treatment plans.
  • Provide participants with confidential, non-medical counseling services
  • Assess the participant’s immediate risk and biopsychosocial needs
  • Deliver educational support to identified patients, caregivers
  • Act as primary point of contact for patients and health care professionals
  • Understand a patient’s support needs and interaction preferences to deliver a seamless, tailored patient experience that helps each patient complete their pathway to treatment as prescribed
  • Maintain required records on patients and updates progress notes as required. Ensure clinical chart contains necessary information regarding patient’s status and other information.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Marriage and Family Counselor from an accredited institution
  • Active Maryland state license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT)
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Show off your knowledge of solution-based psychotherapy interventions and techniques.
  • Top-notch communication and interpersonal skills
  • We're talking strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills here.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
