Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Heavy Duty Truck Body Shop Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing new JerrDan bodies for our sales team, repairing tow trucks that have been in accidents, and performing various mechanical repairs. If you have a strong background in heavy-duty truck maintenance and repair, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- JerrDan Body Installation: Install new JerrDan bodies for our sales team, ensuring quality and precision.
- Accident Repairs: Assess and repair tow trucks that have been involved in accidents, restoring them to optimal working condition.
- Suspension Work: Perform suspension repairs and adjustments, with a preference for candidates who have specific knowledge in this area.
- Cooling and Front-End Repairs: Conduct cooling system and front-end mechanical repairs to ensure vehicle reliability and performance.
- Alignments: Perform wheel alignments to maintain proper vehicle handling and tire longevity.
- Welding: Utilize welding skills for structural repairs and modifications as needed.
Requirements
SKILL, TRAINING, AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 year experience in medium/heavy duty truck collision repair, diesel repair, and/or heavy duty body installations
- Box truck / trailer repair experience preferred
- Must have own tools

- The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, and certifications. A reasonable estimate of the current range would be $18 to $35 per hour
