Family Medical Supplies is looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Healthcare Administrator to join our team. As a Healthcare Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our medical supplies company. You will be responsible for managing various administrative tasks and ensuring that our operations meet the highest standards of efficiency and compliance.
In this role, you will oversee various aspects of our day-to-day operations, including managing inventory, overseeing vendor relationships, processing orders, and coordinating with healthcare providers. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, managing customer inquiries, and providing support to the sales team.
To succeed in this role, you must have strong organizational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively. You should also have excellent communication skills, as you will be working closely with healthcare providers, vendors, and internal teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory and ensure that adequate supplies are available at all times
- Oversee vendor relationships and negotiate favorable terms and pricing
- Process orders and coordinate with shipping and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and customer inquiries
- Provide support to the sales team by creating sales reports and assisting with customer inquiries
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure efficient and accurate delivery of medical supplies
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or a related field
- Proven experience in healthcare administration or a similar role
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in medical supplies or a related industry is a plus
