Full Job Description
RMC is hiring an experienced Graphic Designer to support the fast-paced environment at NSWC Indian Head’s Corporate Communications Division providing the Command with both internal and external facing graphics and visual imaging products.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in fine arts, communications, graphic design or related field. An Associate’s Degree (AS/AA) and ten (10) years of experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
Must have proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (including Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop), and working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products. Demonstrated proficiency in creating, designing, formatting, editing, and maintaining a variety of print and digital media.
An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Knowledge of Section 508 compliance standards and how to create 508-compliant print and digital products.
Experience in photography and photo editing is preferred.
