As a high performing leader on our Senior team, you'll work side by side with our global operations Leaders. Your strategic guidance will ensure efficient, effective operations that align with our company's overarching goals. You'll have the opportunity to help craft a strategic roadmap, mentor and inspire a high-performing team, identify areas for improvement, streamline workflows, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency. You will also head-up projects such as implementing cutting-edge systems and technologies to drive operational insights. Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and address challenges proactively.
To thrive in this role, you'll need a mix of visionary thinking, hands-on operational savvy, and a talent for inspiring those around you. Here’s what will set you up for success:
- Ideal candidates will live in the Virginia/Maryland/Washington DC area and can connect with us locally or be willing to relocate to these areas.
- An inquisitive mind and a background in manufacturing, engineering, or something that’s equipped you with an analytical edge.
- 5+ years of experience leading operations, ideally in a global context and a passion for navigating the complexities of a diverse, interconnected world.
- Project management skills will be a great advantage in this role.
- A deep understanding of information systems and their application in operational environments.
- A history of driving change, boosting operational excellence, and elevating processes to new heights.
- Sharp problem-solving abilities, with a love for using data as your compass in decision-making.
- People-first leadership skills that help you build and elevate teams, encouraging innovation and collaboration every step of the way.
- Communication skills that engage, inform, and encourage whether you’re presenting to the leadership team or collaborating with teammates.
- A passport and a spirit of adventure, this role involves about 50% travel, nationally and internationally.
Compensation at Phillips is based on the market and your individual level of contribution. The expected pay range for a qualified person in this role is between $220,000.00 and $270,000.00 annually. If you have a different suggestion, please mention it in your application.
