General Summary - Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in DoD projects. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems for a variety of projects. You will collaborate with a team of engineers, technicians, and other professionals to ensure the successful completion of projects on time and within budget. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of electrical engineering principles, as well as strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop electrical systems for DoD projects• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of electrical systems• Collaborate with a team of engineers and technicians to review designs and resolve technical issues• Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements• Stay up to date with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering• Prepare technical reports, specifications, and documentation
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering• Experience with DoD projects and knowledge of DoD standards and regulations• Proficient in electrical engineering software and tools• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
