Job Description:
The Digital Marketing Specialist works closely with the Director of Communications and the Associate Director of Communications on a range of marketing and communication projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and project management skills, experience in social media and digital marketing, and managing social media management platforms.

PRIMARY JOB AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Primarily responsible for the coordination of Holy Child's social media efforts, creating and scheduling written, photographic, video, and other content for multiple digital platforms to increase community engagement and awareness about Holy Child along with monitoring the platforms
• Assist the Communications Director and Associate Director in developing a digital strategy based on metrics, feedback, and innovation, looking regularly for improvement opportunities
• Responsible for analyzing and documenting key drivers of website performance, including the impact of social media, paid media tactics, site changes, and events
• Oversees SEO management in conjunction with website provider and maintains awareness of industry SEO best practices
• Prepare monthly social media marketing performance reports and provide high-level insights and key learnings
• Contributes to the development of school marketing materials, including paid advertising, print collateral, and direct mail pieces
• Assist in the creation of digital templates and infrastructure to support communications such as newsletters, calendars, and portals, in conjunction with other team members in the Communications department
• Assists with other School projects or events, as needed
The Ideal Candidate Possesses the Following Characteristics:
• Marketing expertise; effective management and promotion of brand identity and development of messages for use with a broad range of constituencies
• Experience with website design and management; familiarity with Finalsite is ideal
• Strong story-telling skills and ability to identify “stories” for marketing to core constituencies
• Excellent written communication skills, including proofreading and copy-editing
• Experience planning, shooting, and editing short and long-form video content
• Familiarity with design, and video editing platforms such as Canva and Final Cut Pro
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• A self-starter with the capacity to build relationships and engage students, parents, staff, and colleagues
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to think strategically and creatively
• Ability to manage multiple projects with varied timelines, sometimes on tight deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships across multiple departments
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Multimedia Content, or other relevant area of formal academic training
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing and communications, superior digital marketing skills, and a strong grasp of communications-industry best
• Experience in website management, social media platforms for marketing, and paid digital advertising, familiarity with Meta Business Suite and Manager, Google Ads, and Google Analytics
