IT Concepts (ITC) is an 8(a) SDVOSB founded on the concepts of customer-centric, driven to deliver, teamwork, integrity, and innovation. As we continue to grow in the support of our government customers, we are looking for driven and innovative individuals to join our team.
IT Concepts is looking for an experienced Data Scientist to support SSA - Social Security Administration.
Become part of a team to help a large government agency support research and statistics efforts that help agency officials make recommendations on reforms. IT Concepts is seeking a Data Scientist.
The Data Scientist possesses an expert level of proficiency in multiple technical disciplines. Provides expert guidance and insight into specific technologies and their application and independently performs a variety of system design and integration tasks where a specific subject matter expertise is necessary.
Responsible for highly complex Information Technology projects and tools. Uses high-level functional systems analysis, design, integration, documentation and implementation methodologies on complex problems that require in-depth knowledge of the subject matter for effective implementation. A minimum of 8 years of experience is required.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience deploying complex production projects and maintaining production pipeline.
- 8+ years of experience translating high-level project requirements into technical task.
- 8+ years of experience interpreting and presenting results from statistical analysis and machine learning models.
- 5+ years of experience with SQL, advanced queries, CRUD operations.
- 3+ years of experience with python (preferred), R or SAS in complex data manipulation, statistical analysis and machine learning.
- 3+ years of experience with git, bitbucket and/or other peer-collaboration tools.
- 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools/libraries for reports/presentations. Python (matplotlib, plotly), R (ggplot2, shiny), Tableau.
- 3+ years of experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP).
