Computer Network Architect

Position Type: Full-Time -Contingent

Salary Range: Starting at $133k 9depending on experience)
Work Location: Hybrid remote/in-office. (see onsite requirements below)

**On-Site Requirements: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training/tasking may require occasional on-site work at Patuxent River, MD. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received.

Essential Functions:

• Designs and implements computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks.
• Performs network modeling, analysis, and planning.
• Designs network and computer security measures.
• Researches and recommends network and data communications hardware and software.
• Other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

Required:

• Experience providing computer network architecture required.
• At least three (3) years of experience performing work related to the essential functions.
• BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of: Cloud TIA Security+; CompTIA Cloud+; GICSP; SSCP; CCSP; CSSLP; CASP+; FITSP-D-NG; or GDSA required.

Security Clearance:
Interim or Active Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.

Education:
BS degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science, OR has one of the identified Cybersecurity Workforce (CWF) certifications of: Cloud TIA Security+; CompTIA Cloud+; GICSP; SSCP; CCSP; CSSLP; CASP+; FITSP-D-NG; or GDSA required.
