About the Role:

DiscoverU Health is seeking a dedicated Clinical Nutritionist to provide essential nutrition services to our senior residents. This hybrid position offers a blend of remote and in-home work, allowing for flexibility and a work-life balance. Must live in the D.C., Virginia, or Maryland area to be considered.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for senior residents.
• Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans tailored to individual needs and dietary restrictions.
• Provide education and counseling on healthy eating habits, disease management, and self-care strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nutritionist credentialed by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• Licensed Nutritionist in Maryland, District of Columbia, or Virginia.
• Experience in geriatric nutrition or senior living preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Compensation:

Compensation is based on a per-visitation rate in the range of $40 to $60.
