Full Job Description
Spaceworx is looking for a part time/ or full time Bookkeeper / Finance Assistant to record and maintain accurate financial records integrated with some administrative tasks as needed.
You will be an integral team player to perform daily bookkeeping tasks, maintain financial records (Odoo ERP software), including yet not limited to AP, AR, cash flow, credit card and banking as needed. This will also include working closely with management to assist in, generate and analyze financial reports, weekly KPI reports, budgeting, job profitability reports and inventory valuation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparation of the company’s budget, sales targets, KPI reports
- Manage the daily transactions and functions for Sales Orders, Job Costing, Inventory purchasing
- Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functions
- Review and process reimbursements, reconcile job costing.
- Manage company’s liabilities (e.g. insurance premium) and sales tax accounts
- Maintain vendor and client accounts in the ERP (Odoo Software)
- Creates and edits systems and procedures for various departments
- Participates and contributes in weekly project team meetings
- Assist with other administrative duties as needed
Requirements
- Work experience as a full scale Bookkeeper / Finance person or similar experience
- Solid understanding of advanced bookkeeping and accounting principles
- Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions)
- Proficient with Quickbooks Accounting software (desktop or online)- a must.
- Organizational and time-management skills
- Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics
- Proficiency in English and in MS Office
