Applications System Administrator, Journeyman (001)

RMC is hiring for a Applications System Administrator who will provide server and workstation support to for NAS Pax River.  The selected applicant will perform a variety of infrastructure and integration activities including but not limited to: 

• Support virtual and physical server configurations
• Administer Web Application servers in support of client applications
• Perform general IT requirements, installation, configuration, maintenance, and security in a classified or unclassified network environment
• Provide Server 2019 administration
• Support the virtualization of Windows systems (VMWare ESXi)
• Provide ACAS/Nessus vulnerability and scanning support
• Monitoring performance including monitoring disk space, utilization, capacity and availability
• Support ISSOs in implementing and supporting cyber security standards to include NIST and Risk Management Framework (RMF) C&A Standards
• Create and maintain user accounts, and install hardware/software
• Perform system backup and recovery
• DoD STIG / SCAP / ACAS compliance

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree and three to ten (3-10) years of experience in related infrastructure, operating systems, system administration work is required. 
• Six (6) years of additional related work experience or an Associate’s Degree and four (4) years of additional related work experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s Degree.
• Must have DoD 8570/5239 IAT Level II Certification (Security + CE) or higher to start
• An active DoD Tops Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
