Treatment/Hospital Coordinator

Bayou Children's Dental Center is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Treatment/Hospital Coordinator to join our team in Houma, LA. As a Treatment/Hospital Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and coordinating patient care. The ideal candidate should be friendly, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced dental office environment.

Responsibilities:

• FT position in office
• Hospital/Surgery Scheduling
• Communicating treatment and insurance co-payments with patients prior to scheduling, as well as collecting payment
• Verifying Dental and some medical benefits
• Obtaining Dental and Medical pre-authorizations for services when required
• Scheduling Post-Surgery follow-ups
• Liasson between Dr's and surgery patients when needed
• Scheduling in-office recalls and treatments 
  
  Pay ranges are from $16.00 - $20.00/hour

Requirements

Prior experience in a dental setting required

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Customer service-oriented mindset and ability to handle patient concerns with empathy
• Knowledge of dental insurances and billing processes is required
• Dentrix Knowledge is a plus
• Bilingual- Spanish is a plus
