Full Job Description

As a CNA at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients in a variety of healthcare settings

Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
  • Assist with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
  • Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior
  • Ensure patients' rooms are clean and well-maintained
  • Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date records
  • Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective

Requirements

  • Valid CNA certification in the state of practice
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience as a CNA preferred
  • Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay Rate: $760-$836 Weekly

Length of Assignment: 14weeks

Hours per Week: 38

Time Schedule: Flexible

Schedule Details: 02:00-10:00pm

License Required: VT State license

Certificates Required: BLS
