As a Topline Mechanic III - Shop for Sunstate Equipment, your primary objective is to ensure that our equipment is safe and ready for customer use. You will perform regular preventative maintenance and major repairs on a wide variety of construction equipment and deliver vehicle fleet. This position also required advanced troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic, ignition, and pneumatic systems, diesel and gas engines, telehandlers, various diaphragm pumps, and drivetrains.
Requirements
Preferred Qualities/Experience:
- Have at least five to seven years of heavy construction equipment diagnostics and repair under your belt.
- Be able to read and understand electrical, hydraulic and mechanical schematics.
- Must have the tools you need to do the job; your hands will only get your so far.
- High quality control. Respect your work and make it known.
- Solving problems and troubleshooting go hand-in-hand in this role.
- Experience with Diesel engines, Electrical and Hydraulic systems, telehandlers, various diaphragm pumps, and air brake systems is required
