As we continue to grow, we currently have a tremendous opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist who is up for the challenge.
We are currently seeking a Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work under the direction of a physician and perform a full range of nuclear imaging for our Mobile Cardiac Imaging Program. Regular local travel through Southeast Texas and Louisiana is required, including occasional overnight stays. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist would be reimbursed for all gas mileage incurred for travel, and hotel accommodations would be paid for by Cardiac Imaging, Inc., as well as per diem to cover food expenses.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT diagnostic imaging procedures as directed by the physician
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals as required
- Operate PET/CT imaging equipment
- Monitor patients during imaging procedures ensuring the highest level of comfort and safety
- Practice radiation safety at all time, using proper shielding techniques
- Evaluate patient medical history for contraindications
- Perform quality control procedures on PET/CT scanners as per the industry standards
Requirements
- Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist- PET/CT
- 1+ years of experience in Nuclear Medicine Imaging
- Knowledge of radiopharmaceuticals, radiation protection, and quality control
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively under pressure
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when required.
