Local Certified Nursing Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Help patients with mobility by transferring them safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assist with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
• Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior
• Ensure patients' rooms are clean and well-maintained
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care

Requirements

• Valid certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Physical stamina and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Pay Rate: $800 based on experience

Desired Start Date: ASAP

Length of Assignment: 9 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Shift and Time: 7:00am - 3:00pm

Experience required: Minimum of 2years

License Required: CNA License

Certificates Required: BLS

Housing Assistance: Provide
