Full Job Description
H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking an Azure Administrator to join our current contract supporting Marine Forces Reserve HQ located in New Orleans, LA. The Azure Administrator will be responsible for managing and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions, including major services related to computer, storage, network, and security. The focus of this work includes:
The Azure Administrator responsibilities include:
· Azure administration support and governance
· Application and Database monitoring
· Security health monitoring
· Rollout and support of new Azure services
· Support and management of compute platforms
· Support and management of Azure Data Services (blob storage, data factory, data warehouse, analysis services, etc.)
· Configuration and capacity management for Azure subscriptions
· Assist with Azure cloud migration initiatives
· Review new Azure service requests
Education and Experience Required:
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or a relevant field with at least three years of relevant experience, or High School diploma/GED with at least five years of full-time or equivalent part-time, professional, relevant experience and training required, of which at least three years must have been work directly related to the duties/responsibilities as outlined.
· 3+ years of active, hands-on experience in Azure cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS).
· 2 years of experience actively implementing cloud solutions and using Azure services. Achieve and maintain professional IT certifications, such as Microsoft MCSA or MCSE, HPE ASE or Master ASE, VMware VCP, Fortinet NSE.
· Experience working with "Team-Based Practices," e.g., Agile, Kanban Etc.
· Microsoft Cloud+ certification preferred.
