We are passionate about our mission of strengthening people and pets by making pet care easy.
Description:
Managers support our mission by promoting a client centered work culture, leading and coaching their team, and ensuring the smooth daily operation of their site.
We are looking for someone who can coach and lead a team, empowering them to serve our customers with excitement and joy. We want someone who will lead from the front, build trust and relationships with their team, and is passionate about creating a positive work environment.
We are looking for a leader, not just a boss. Stress, conflict resolution, and occasional long hours will be part of the job, as will the reward of making a positive impact on the lives of your team as you coach them to greater levels of success. We believe in transparent and honest feedback and that constructive conflict is essential to creating a good culture; no sweeping problems under the rug at PetWOW!
We need a leader with the heart of a servant, who is willing to put the good of the team above their own needs; managers are expected to work alongside their team, supporting them in daily operations so that everyone can win.
Duties:
·Supervise daily operations (resolve customer complaints, employee absences, collaborate with the veterinarian team to resolve complex cases, etc).
·Ensure that PetWOW’s company culture is maintained and nourished. This involves:
- Assisting with new hires and their training.
- Commending and supporting team members who excel.
- Coaching up team members who are struggling to meet our standards.

- Hold weekly and quarterly reviews with direct reports.
- Fill roles and shifts when necessary.
Requirements
- 2+ years in a leadership role at previous place of employment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
- Physical fitness: the role is very demanding. Managers must be able to restrain large animals, help assist carrying heavy loads, and be on their feet for extended periods of time.
- Previous experience in the veterinary field is preferred.
