Tube Machine Operator

As a Tube Machine Operator at KMG, you will be responsible for operating tube bending and cutting machines to produce parts according to specifications. You will ensure the efficient and accurate production of components, maintaining high quality and safety standards.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Operate tube bending and cutting machines according to production schedules.
• Set up machines by loading materials, adjusting settings, and selecting appropriate tools.
• Monitor machine operation to detect issues and make adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Record production data and complete required documentation.
• Identify and report any defects or discrepancies in materials or products.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating tube bending and cutting machines or similar equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with hand tools, measuring instruments, and machinery.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
