POSITION SUMMARY:

The Team Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of their designated team, ensuring productivity, quality, and safety standards are met. This role involves guiding and mentoring team members, coordinating workflow, and collaborating with other departments to meet organizational goals.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Supervise and lead a team of production and warehouse staff, ensuring efficient operations.
• Coordinate daily workflow, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet production and shipping deadlines.
• Train and mentor team members, providing guidance and support to improve performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies.
• Monitor quality control measures to maintain high standards of product quality.
• Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and feedback.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of production, inventory, and employee performance.
• Implement and support Lean and 5S initiatives to enhance workplace organization.
• Perform other duties as required.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations.
• Proficiency in using computer systems and software for documentation and reporting.
• Problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
