Hire Resolve is partnering with a prominent firm that specializes in architectural and engineering (A/E) services, with a key emphasis on designing secure, mission-oriented facilities on a global scale. Together we are seeking a Senior Project Manager (Munitions) to join their team, with positions available in two locations: Lexington, KY, and Glen Allen, VA.
As the Senior Project Manager in Munitions, your resposibilities will include:
- Exceptional oral and written communication with clients to understand risks and align expectations, manage service deliverables, and obtain/disseminate client feedback
- Proficient oral and written communication with multi-disciplined project team leads and members to ensure everyone is informed of updates, changes, and project milestones/requirements
- Independent preparation of budgets, proposals, and contracts; negotiation of contract fees; preparation of project forecasting hours and expense estimates; management of monthly invoices and accounts receivable actions; liaison with A/E staff to confirm estimates
- Coordination and direction of projects, including detailed planning to integrate technical activities across various disciplines such as architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and telecommunications design
- Skilled facilitation of in-house and external client meetings with project teams to ensure communication alignment with project scope
- Conducting presentations to outline projects to clients and staff, and conducting ongoing project meetings to ensure internal team communication
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Architecture preferred
- 10+ years of experience in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industry
- Professional Engineer license (PE) or AIA required, or ability to obtain within 18 months of hire date
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance required
- Ability to travel to client offices and project sites as necessary
- Comprehensive understanding of practical applications in architecture, engineering science, and associated technologies, with a focus on building design and related site infrastructure, encompassing architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, building sciences, sustainability, and technology systems.
- Familiarity with design techniques and tools essential for creating technical plans, drawings, and computer models.
- Profound knowledge of the rules and regulations governing specific market segments, such as Federal, State Department, Military, or municipal government standards.
- Proficiency in utilizing project management tools, including pert charts, gantt charts, cost accounting tools, Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook, OneNote), Bluebeam (.PDF), VTC mediums (Zoom), Deltek products (VantagePoint), and SharePoint.
