Senior Full Stack Engineer

As a Senior Software Engineer at SalesRiver, you will be responsible for building and maintaining our web app (React) and our API (TypeScript). You will assist with writing technical specifications and reviewing pull requests from your peers. You will work with a small team of talented engineers and designers. We highly value initiative in our engineers, and you will have the opportunity to make a large impact on our team's technical decisions and roadmap. We make an effort to leave our egos at the door, value constructive feedback, and turn as many meetings into Slack messages as possible.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-quality software design and architecture.
• Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions
• Evaluate application issues and fix bugs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting and collaborating with other engineers and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Contribute to existing technical documentation and adapt content based on product updates and feedback.
• You own parts of product and technology & strive to become a subject matter expert.
• Being an evangelist for high-quality code and engineering best practices.
• Provide mentorship for peer engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable web applications
• Ability to write high-quality, reusable, and maintainable code
• Ability to write comprehensive unit / integration / end to end tests
• Experience with Node.js, TypeScript, React, AWS
• Experience with testing libraries such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, React Testing Library

Nice To Have

• Experience with Multi-tenant SaaS applications, Remix, Tailwind CSS, Terraform, Docker, Postgres, and GitHub Actions
