POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of our Finance team, will assist in maintaining the financial health of the aftermarket parts business, while driving process and profit improvements.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
· Perform daily general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and analysis.
· Tracking KPI’s and preparing financial reports.
· Assisting with budgeting and monthly close processes.
· Reviewing and analyzing financial statements and reports.
· Assisting project teams with financial guidance.
· Help establish financial policies.
· Perform balance sheet reconciliations, contract accounting and reporting, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules.
· Work with all levels of the organization to clearly see the financial benefits and challenges of business decisions.
· Clearly articulate company accounting policies as applicable across the organization.
· Maintain confidentiality of financial and business information.
· Work with members of the Finance team and other in the division to implement and track margin improvement initiatives.
Requirements
WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
· Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.
· Master’s degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
· 3-5 years Accounting/Finance experience in a retail focused or technical service industry.
· Experience with ERP systems and databases (Oracle preferred).
· Working knowledge of IFRS and GAAP.
· Advanced knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office including Access.
· Experience with databases and data warehousing tools.
· Ability to maintain positive working relationships and communication with internal and external customers and all levels of the organization.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work with minimal supervision and initiative to seek improvements.
· Analytical problem solver with capability to work within a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
· 5-10% travel may be required.
