Internship Overview:
Our internship program is designed to invest in the future generation of talent. This eleven-week program is centered around the principles of continuous learning, financial stewardship, building relationships, and community involvement, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our interns and the communities we serve.
Position Summary
The Project Management Intern will support our project management team and leaders to help make informed decisions and drive growth. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project coordination, administrative tasks, and operational processes across various projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members to collect and analyze data.
- Review existing data processes and determine opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions and provide input.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including scheduling and document preparation as needed.
- Participate actively and constructively in cross-functional teams as needed.
- Identify various opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Experience training and development from various team members in all bank departments.
- Represent First Southern both in conduct and appearance in a courteous, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
