Full Job Description

4RFasteners is a family-owned business that provides fasteners.

As an outside sales contractor, you will be responsible for driving business growth by developing new client relationships and managing existing accounts.

Duties

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation and networking.
  • Conduct in-depth product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop strategic sales plans to achieve territory sales targets.
  • Collaborate with the sales management team to refine sales strategies and improve performance.
  • Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients in both English or Spanish (if applicable) to expand market reach.

Requirements

  • Outside sales experience of at least 2+ years
  • Located in the Louisville, Kentucky market or geographically adjacent
  • A willingness to travel
  • Experience with fastener or similar product preferred ( Nuts, Washers, Screws, Concrete Anchors, Grinding Discs, Cut-off Wheels, Hex Head Cap Screws, Structural Bolts, Tension Control Bolts, Flange Bolts)
  • Selling to businesses that consume fastener products ( Heavy Construction, HVAC Equipment & Supplies, Industrial Materials & Supplies, Industrial & Commercial Machinery, Specialty Manufacturing Industries)

Benefits

  • This is a 1099 independent contractor role
  • Average sale value (ASV) range of $500 to $10,000
  • 10% commission
  • Expected OTE in excess of $100,000
