Operations Specialist

First Southern National Bank is a well-established financial institution known for its commitment to excellent customer service and strong community relationships. We are currently seeking an experienced Operations Specialist to join our dedicated team. As an Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our bank.

Responsibilities

• Performing various operational duties, including account reconciliation, data entry, and generating reports
• Collaborating with different departments to resolve operational issues and improve processes
• Analyzing operational data and providing insights and recommendations for improvement
• Conducting routine audits to ensure compliance with bank policies and regulatory requirements
• Assisting in the development and implementation of operational policies and procedures
• Monitoring incoming and outgoing transactions, identifying and reporting any suspicious activities
• Providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Operations Specialist or in a similar operational role within the banking or financial industry
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, procedures, and compliance regulations
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in performing operational tasks
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
