Motion Graphics Design Internship (Louisville, KY Metro Only)

Congo Brands’ creative department is looking for a talented Motion Design intern candidate who can take direction and create motion graphics, for digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the Adobe After Effects and have basic knowledge in every step of the motion graphic creation process, from concept to final deliverable. Some 3D knowledge is a plus but not a must. The candidate will need to have an understanding of branding/marketing and will possess the skills to execute each project that is assigned.

Objectives of this role

• Work on a wide range of Mograph (Motion Graphics) projects, using various software programs to develop engaging animations
• Obtain input from the motion team to ensure the executions meet appropriate standards and brand expectations, expressing ideas accurately
• Interest in motion and animation as tools for engagement and communication
• Can time-manage efficiently to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Collaborate and brainstorm with team or CD of Motion on a wide range of projects that may include social posts, paid ads, internal campaigns, and marketing support materials
• Translate creative direction into high-quality executions within an established brand identity
• Manage the design and uploading process for project assets, based on best practices used by the team

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Self-motivated, innovative creative skills
• Competency in Adobe Creative Suite design software apps
• Basic Knowledge in video editing
• Knowledge in audio production: Music and SFX
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Desire to continue building skillset with mentorship and training

Preferred skills and qualifications

• Experience (Academic or professional) in graphic design projects
• Junior level, or higher, studies in graphic design, art, or related discipline
• Working knowledge creating Motion Graphic for various media
