Internship Overview:
Our internship program is designed to invest in the future generation of talent. This eleven-week program is centered around the principles of continuous learning, financial stewardship, building relationships, and community involvement, striving to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our interns and the communities we serve.
Position Summary
The Marketing Intern will play an integral part in contributing to the development and execution of our marketing strategies. This position will assist our team on a variety of projects for First Southern National Bank and our Family of Companies (Kentucky Soaps & Such, Bluebird Café, Stanford Inn and Guest Houses at Wilderness Road, UTG, Mama DeVechios Pizzeria, Esther's Wellhouse, and Cerulean).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and organize marketing files, records, and promotional materials.
- Maintain marketing calendars and ensure project timelines are updated and followed.
- Help maintain inventory of marketing materials, ensuring stock levels are adequate and materials are up-to-date.
- Compile and organize data related to marketing campaigns and customer engagement.
- Assist in preparing reports and presentations summarizing project outcomes and marketing performance metrics.
- Handle other marketing-related administrative duties as assigned.
- Experience training and development from various team members in all departments.
- Represent the Family of Companies in conduct and appearance in a courteous, professional manner.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a degree in marketing, communications, business or another related field.
- Interest and talent in design, writing, photography, video production, social media or advertising.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
