Lighting Assembler

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Lighting Assembler at KMG, you will be responsible for assembling and installing lighting components for various products. You will work as part of a team to ensure that all lighting assemblies meet quality standards and production schedules.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Assemble lighting components according to specifications and blueprints.
• Install wiring, bulbs, and other electrical components.
• Test lighting assemblies to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Inspect parts and assemblies to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Follow work instructions and procedures to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Report any defects or issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Basic math skills.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
