The Role:
The Human Resource Generalist will run the daily functions of the Human Resource (HR) function including, benefits, leave, and upholding company policies and practices as well as perform administrative tasks and services to support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s human resource department.
Location: Must be located in Louisville, KY area and able to work in the Congo Brands Corporate office Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm EST daily.
Core Responsibilities:
- Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This may include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications.
- Handles employee relations issues, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.
- Assist in performance management initiatives.
- Organizes and assists with employee orientation and onboarding.
- Coordinate project activities and tasks, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Education Responsible:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
- One-year of Human Resources Experience.
