Head of Project Management

We are seeking an experienced Head of Project Management to lead our team, ensuring the successful delivery of complex client projects and fostering long-term relationships. In this role, you will set the vision for project management, coordinate high-level strategies, and ensure seamless execution. Responsibilities include guiding project managers, optimizing processes, and ensuring resource availability. You will drive the development of project plans, manage timelines, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to scope. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential. This position is located in our Lexington, Kentucky office.

On any given day you might:

• Lead and mentor the project management team to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality campaigns
• Develop and implement project management strategies, processes, and best practices
• Collaborate with management of cross-functional teams (sales, logistics, procurement, engineering, legal, finance) to translate creative concepts into actionable deliverables
• Define and maintain the scope of projects, including budget, goals, deliverables, and schedules
• Balance client advocacy with Fooji team interests to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes
• Facilitate and lead high-level meetings and presentations of creative work to clients and stakeholders
• Communicate project issues and resolutions to both clients and internal teams, ensuring transparency and alignment
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback on software improvements, bugs, and new feature suggestions

Requirements

The ideal person

• Must have experience leading a small team
• Must have experience using project management software to develop project plans (Asana, Basecamp, Trello)
• Has managed project budgets over $100,000
• Has had Project Management experience in social media campaigns and platforms
• Have a flexible and positive attitude toward evolving responsibilities and environments
• Experience being the point person for clients
• Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• A master at problem solving
• Experience in diving into new software and platforms
• Isn’t phone-phobic
• Strong software technology understanding
• An inclination to be a curious and self-driven learner
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule (we often need project managers for evening and weekend campaigns)

You bring

• 3-5 years Project Management experience
• Strong software technology understanding (NOT writing code)
• Creative problem solving
