Full Job Description

The Electrical Assembler at KMG Fabrication is responsible for assembling and wiring electrical panels, sub-assemblies, and systems according to blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. The role involves precise work with electrical components, tools, and equipment to ensure high-quality, reliable products that meet company and customer specifications.

  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Assemble electrical components and systems according to detailed specifications.
  • Perform wiring and cable routing within panels and enclosures.
  • Install electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and connectors.
  • Ensure assemblies meet design and quality standards.
  • Complete required documentation for each assembly project, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe working environment.
  • Work closely with team members, engineers, and supervisors to achieve production goals.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process improvements.

Requirements

  • Technical training or certification in electrical assembly or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of [X] years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or a related field.
  • Experience working with electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools for electrical assembly.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
  • Basic understanding of electrical theory and principles.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and work with hands for extended periods.
  • Capability to lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
  • The role is primarily performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to various electrical components and assembly tools.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
