Full Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Bench Electric to join our team. The Bench Electric will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting electrical components and systems for our custom fabrication projects. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Assemble electrical components and systems according to engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications.
  • Perform wiring, soldering, and installation of electrical parts in custom fabrication projects.
  • Test electrical assemblies and systems to ensure they meet performance standards and specifications.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Stay current with industry standards and regulations related to electrical assembly and safety.
  • Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding progress, challenges, and solutions.

Requirements

Technical certification or degree in electrical engineering or a related field is preferred.

Proven experience as a Bench Electric or similar role in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.

Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and assembly techniques.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in electrical assembly.
