Travel Registered Nurse| Cardiac Cath Lab

We are currently seeking an experienced and compassionate Travel Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Cath Lab Area. As a Travel RN in the Cardiac Cath Lab at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to work in state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization labs, collaborate with highly skilled healthcare professionals, and make a meaningful impact on the lives of cardiac patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and set-up of cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and hemodynamics during procedures
• Administer medications and intravenous fluids as prescribed
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
• Monitor patients post-procedure and provide appropriate care and patient education
• Document procedures and patient information accurately and efficiently
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac cath lab or critical care setting
• Knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of cardiac nursing principles and practices
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility to travel and work in various healthcare settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications (Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• Experience with electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software

Benefits

Assignment Location: Olathe, Kansas 

Class/Area: Cath Lab RN 

Pay Rate: $2400-$2600@40hrs weekly

Desired Start Date: ASAP 

Length of Assignment:14 weeks 

Hours per Week: 40 

Shift and Time: 0700-1730 x4/week 

Schedule Details: 10 hr days 

Weekend Rotation: Required 

On-call Requirements: 1-2 times/week and every 3rd to 4th weekend 

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs 

Floating Requirements: Will float to Cath/IR/EP 

Experience Required: 2 years cath lab exp required 

License Required: KS RN 

Certificates Required: BLS & ACLS
