We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Sterile Processing Technician to join our team at NCG Associates. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical equipment and instruments.
Responsibilities
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical equipment and instruments following established protocols and guidelines
- Assemble and package instruments and supplies for sterilization
- Monitor and test sterilization equipment, ensuring proper functionality and efficacy of sterilization processes
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance
- Stock and distribute sterile supplies to various departments within the healthcare facility
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper handling and storage of sterile supplies
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and OSHA regulations and protocols
- Conduct periodic inventory checks and assist with supply management
- Participate in the training and orientation of new staff members
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician (CSPDT) or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Sterile Processing Technician
- Thorough knowledge of sterilization techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with operating and troubleshooting sterilization equipment
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Length : 14 weeks
Pay Rate: $1440-$1600 weekly
Hours per week : 40: 80 per pay
Shift Time: 4pm to 12:30am
Weekend Rotation: No weekend work
On call requirement: None
Holidays requirement: None
Floating: Yes
Experience required: 1 year of sterile processing experience
Certificate required: CRCST
