We are currently seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Radiology Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions through the use of advanced imaging technology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRI scans, adhering to established protocols and physician orders
  • Position patients and employ appropriate radiation safety measures to ensure accurate and high-quality images
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to evaluate and interpret imaging results
  • Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately in electronic medical records
  • Educate and reassure patients about imaging procedures and address any questions or concerns they may have
  • Comply with HIPAA regulations and maintain strict patient confidentiality
  • Stay updated on advancements in radiology technology and participate in continuing education activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in radiology technology or a related field
  • Certification as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • State licensure as a Radiology Technologist
  • Proven experience working in a radiology department or healthcare facility
  • Thorough knowledge of diagnostic imaging procedures and techniques
  • Attention to detail and ability to produce accurate and high-quality images
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare professionals
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical records and imaging software
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and ensuring safety

Length : 14 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Days: Fri - Sun

Time: 8am-8:30pm

Positions : 1

Shift : Day

Pay Rate: $2,320 - $2,490 weekly

Weekend Rotation: Required

On-call Requirements: None

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs

Floating Requirements: 4 buildings that are attached that contain x-ray equipment.

Experience Required: Minimum two years radiology experience, Level I experience, travel experience

License Required: ARRT, KS license

Certificate Required: BLS
