QA Analyst - Software Development

Sunlighten is actively seeking an experienced QA Analyst – Software Development to ensure the quality of software and products developed meet/exceed expected requirements, to enhance the Sunlighten customer experience. As a QA Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in standardizing QA/QC processes, reviewing project requirements, preparing and conducting tests, and collaborating with developers to resolve issues. Your efforts will ensure the functionality and performance of our software are top-notch, contributing to our mission of improving customer well-being.

Job Responsibilities:

• Standardize QA/QC process for software application development – including Testing, Design, Process, Protocols.

• Review project & product requirements, release cycles, prepare test cases, conduct testing, inform developers, communicate changes made and document meeting requirements.

• Examine specification, functionality, objectives of the software development, ensure they are clearly defined, identify issues or inconsistencies, and ensure resolved to prevent any downstream issues, communicating QA results and timelines to key stakeholders.

• Testing must be end-to-end, backwards, and forward, both software hardware and testing

• Provide parameters for test cases, set quality checkpoints, ensure test cases are passing, communicating QA results, and communicate to key stakeholders and engineers.
• Develop a strong understanding of our eco-system and working components.
• Create ways to optimize QA process and create efficiencies to reduce cycle times for QA testing, and continuously improve customer experience by achieving desired results.
• Find ways to automate QA software development testing with Sunlighten Engineers.
• Achieve success measurements defined by key stakeholders to ensure releases are stable, meeting requirements. Cases resulting from releases by type will be measured and continue to optimize QA to reduce the % of, continuously improving customer experience.

Requirements

• Experience with software development, test automation, load & performance testing – QA/QC testing.
• Creating & standardizing test plans and test strategies, estimating testing level of effort
• Proficiency in usability, performance, compatibility, security, load, functionality, and regression testing
• Strong communication, attention to detail, problem-solving, listening and time management skills.
• Experience working with international teams.
