Press Brake Operator

SUMMARY: 

The CNC Press Brake Operator works with a team that is responsible for welding and fabricating Geoprobe®/DRILLMAX® products. This position is responsible to set up and safely operate the CNC press brake to process/produce highest quality products. 

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Set up CNC Press Brake for the purpose of bending, shaping or forming material by following specifications placed on a work order, blueprint or drawing 
• Assemble forming tools in tool holders, using hand tools, and measuring equipment. 
• Debur and inspect parts to assure conformance 
• Read work orders, blueprints, or drawings to determine set up procedure, machine sequence, and dimensions of finished product  
• Complete paperwork to assure product goes to final destination 
• Maintain a clean and organized work area 

• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations 
• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements 
• Accept ownership for accomplishing new and different assignments by Manager and/or area lead 
• Tasks may include: Load/Unload and run laser, operate forklift, and various other tasks as assigned by Manager or lead 

Requirements

• Two (2) years of CNC Press Brake experience required 
• Basic math skills with ability to read tape measure 
• Able to read and interpret blueprints 
• Reliable attendance, positive attitude, motivated to work hard, and honest in all situations 
• Able to operate hand tools. 
• Frequent standing, reaching, bending. Able to lift up to 60 pounds independently 
• Expected hours are 40-45 weekly
