Local Certified Nursing Assistant

We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Local Certified Nursing Assistants to join our team. As a Local CNA at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to provide essential care and support to patients in your local community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Transfer patients safely to and from beds, wheelchairs, and other equipment
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients
• Assist with range of motion exercises and physical therapy routines
• Observe and report any changes in patients' condition or behavior
• Ensure patients' rooms are clean and well-maintained
• Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date records
• Follow infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care

Requirements

• Valid CNA certification in the state of practice
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 Years LTC / Skilled Nursing/ Rehab experience
• Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
• Compassionate and empathetic approach towards patient care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Physical endurance and ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Benefits

Location: Olathe, KS 

Class/Area: Local Certified Nursing Assistant

Pay Rate: $684-$720@36hrs weekly

Desired Start Date: ASAP 

Length of Assignment: 14 Weeks

Hours per Week: 36 hrs.

Shift and Time: 12hr Nights: 1845-0715 

Weekend Rotation: Every Other Weekend 

On-call Requirements: None 

Holidays Requirements: Required based on unit needs 

Floating Requirements: Will float to all acute care units 

Experience Required: Minimum 2 Years LTC / Skilled Nursing/ Rehab experience 

Experience Preferred: 1 Year Acute Care Exp. 

License Required: KS CNA License 

Certificates Required: BLS

Housing Assistant: Provided
