We are currently seeking a Loan Services Specialist to join our team in Wichita, Kansas. This role is an integral part of Emprise Bank’s Operations department and will be responsible for loan processing and support, process administration, and communication. This position is eligible for a Hybrid Schedule.

Essential functions of the role:
Loan Processing & Support
- In compliance with regulations and internal procedures, enter consumer, mortgage, HELOC, and basic commercial loan information accurately on the system
- Process payments and insurance mail
- Perform quality reviews of booked loans and make corrections as needed
- Generate exception reports
- Monitor communication queues and respond to requests
- Research basic loan history as requested
- Respond to credit report disputes
- Process insurance and tax escrow disbursements
Process Administration
- Document standard operating procedures to ensure consistency in processes
- Continually review current processes for efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate across departments to seek process improvements
- Update procedures as needed
Communication
- Interact with Emprise associates, customers, other financial institutions, and vendors relative to areas involving loans services
- Escalate issues as needed
Other duties as assigned within the scope and responsibility of the job
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with large server based applications and typical desktop software required
- Previous bank experience preferred
